Resumen: Debemos ser generosos al llevar el evangelio para ganar otros a Cristo.

Miren este dibujo (o foto) de un camaleón. Este reptil es un lagarto escamoso que tiene la habilidad de cambiar de color para armonizar con su ambiente. La lección de hoy es del Apóstol Pablo y como él vino a ser como otros para proclamar las buenas nuevas del Señor Jesús con ellos.

Lea 1 Corintios 9:16-23

El Apóstol Pablo sabía algo acerca de la naturaleza humana: a las personas le gustan otros que sean como ellos. Aún en la desteza moderna de vender, a los vendedores se les enseña el observar al consumidor y convertirse en una imagen reflectiva de la manera en que la persona se siente y habla para ser más agradable a la persona. Así que si el prospecto se inclina hacia adelante, el vendedor lo hace también. Todo esto es para ser más agradable porque los consumidores le compran a personas que le son agradables.

El Apóstol Pablo hablaba a muchas y diferentes personas acerca de Jesús. Decidió ser como un siervo o un esclavo ante todos los que se encontraba. Lo hacía para que le escucharan al hablar de Jesús. Así que cuando estaba con los judíos hablaba sobre la ley y como Jesús vino a cumplir la ley; a aquellos que no entendía las leyes de Moisés, les hablaba de manera que pudieran conocer a Jesús según Dios quería que ellos le conocieran. Con los que era débiles, Pablo demostraba ser débil para que se pudieran relacionar con lo que él estaba diciendo de Jesús. Era como un camaleón, armonizando su persona con todos los que conocía. De esa forma algunos podrían llegar a salvarse al escuchar las buenas nuevas de Cristo Jesús.

Pablo sabía que tendría una recompensa celestial que duraría por toda la eternidad al hacer el trabajo que le había sido encargado. Él predicaba el evangelio gratuitamente. A pesar de que tenía derecho a ser pagado como predicador, no pidió que le pagaran. Le entusiasmaba compartir su conocimiento del Señor Jesús con otros. Su recompensa era ver a las personas que, al escuchar las buenas nuevas, se convertían en cristianos.

Pablo es un gran ejemplo a seguir. Los importantes no somos nosotros, el importante es Jesús. Debemos dejar que Dios nos use a para contarle a otros acerca del Señor Jesús No todos a los que le hablemos creerán, pero de todos modos ese no es nuestro trabajo. Nuesto trabajo es hablarles, y dejarle a Jesús la salvación de cada persona.

Oremos. Amado Señor Jesús, dame el deseo de contarle a otros sobre Tí. Amén.
