Material: uma tiara ou coroa de brinquedo (ou uma coroa de papel)

Resumo: O Reinado de Paz de Cristo está chegando.

Você já se perguntou se gostaria de ser um príncipe? (ou princesa?) (Coloque a coroa na cabeça de uma criança). Talvez vocês já tenham ouvido a história da Branca de Neve. Lembram de como o príncipe encantado veio acordar Branca de Neve do seu sono e então eles viveram felizes para sempre? Essa história não é real, mas existe uma história parecida na Bíblia e essa é real. Ela nos conta o que vai acontecer quando o Senhor Jesus retornar a Terra para ser o rei do mundo. Vamos ler sobre ela. (Leia Salmos 72:1-8.)

Este salmo foi escrito para o jovem príncipe Salomão (filho do Rei Davi). Ele foi parte da cerimônia que o transformaria no novo rei. Este salmo fala sobre uma época de muita paz no mundo. Ele contém a promessa de um Messias – um príncipe de Deus que governará todas as pessoas de Deus. Esse príncipe é o Senhor Jesus. Quando Jesus retornar, “nem Salomão, em todo o seu esplendor” (Mateus 6:29) poderá ser comparado a Ele e ao novo reino prometido que trará.

Apesar de vivermos em uma época em que existe o terrorismo e coisas ruins acontecendo pelo mundo, encontramos nesta escritura a esperança de que Deus ainda tenha controle sobre tudo. O reinado do Escolhido de Deus será eterno. Esse reinado será tão refrescante quanto chuva de primavera. Ele defenderá os pobres e necessitados. Aqueles que vivem a serviço de Deus e que fazem o que é certo prosperarão (viverão bem) sob os cuidados de Jesus.

A guerra. O terror. A corrupção. O mal. Todas essas coisas serão exterminadas (sumirão para sempre) na Nova Ordem Mundial de Jesus Cristo. Quando o Senhor Jesus retornar ele levará embora todo o mal do mundo e criará um reino de paz. Quando Jesus veio ao mundo pela primeira vez, como um bebê, nós pudemos ver como é ter Deus vivendo conosco. De repente isso nos mostrou o quanto Deus nos ama. A época do Advento, da vinda de Deus para a Terra, não é um evento histórico. Nós experienciamos isso todo dia quando nos curvamos diante do Senhor Jesus e nos submetemos ao Seu reinado em nossos corações, em nossa mente e em nossas vidas.

O reinado de paz de Cristo virá em breve. Fiquem atentos. Rezem. Sorriam e sejam felizes. Cuidem uns dos outros e fiquem prontos para o retorno de Jesus!

Oremos. Querido Senhor Jesus, que a maneira como vivemos O glorifique como nosso Rei. Amém.
